As a team at Prestige Outpatient Providers, we had the privilege of sponsoring the Florida Health Care Association’s Nurse Leadership Program in May, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience. This year’s program, held May 28-30 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Estero, truly embodied its mission of inspiring attendees to “shine as leaders in long term care.”

The Florida Health Care Association deserves tremendous recognition for organizing such a comprehensive and impactful event. From the thoughtful agenda featuring forward-thinking sessions on current challenges and innovative solutions, to the seamless coordination of continuing education opportunities, every detail was expertly managed. The addition of specialized pre-sessions on Human Trafficking for Nurses and Laws and Rules courses demonstrated FHCA’s commitment to helping attendees meet their professional development needs while addressing critical industry topics.

We were truly impressed with the caliber of nursing professionals who attended. The passion, dedication, and expertise displayed by these leaders reinforced why we at Prestige Outpatient Providers are so committed to supporting excellence in post-acute care. The breakout sessions covered essential topics ranging from person-centered care and infection prevention to regulatory updates and behavioral health capacity building – all delivered by knowledgeable speakers who clearly understood the real-world challenges facing long term care facilities.

The Excellence in Long Term Care Nursing Awards ceremony was particularly inspiring, celebrating the dedication and innovation of nursing professionals who go above and beyond for their residents. These moments of recognition remind us why we’re passionate about our work and reinforce the importance of supporting the incredible teams who provide compassionate care every day.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Florida Health Care Association for their exceptional work in organizing this event and for creating such valuable opportunities for professional growth and connection. At Prestige Outpatient Providers, we’re proud to have been part of this celebration of nursing excellence and look forward to continuing our support of the long term care community.

The relationships formed and knowledge gained at this year’s Nurse Leadership Program will undoubtedly contribute to better patient outcomes and stronger partnerships throughout Florida’s long term care landscape.
